The Junior Trad Ensemble

New for Sept. 2024!

Ages 12-15, with flexibility
Beginner to intermediate level (contact us for placement)
Instruments include fiddle, flute, guitar, mandolin, and possibly other instruments

Come learn with us! Build your playing skills with a master - our director Anthony Rissesco has decades of experience and the flair to make it all fun. Build up your repertoire of fiddle tunes and traditional tunes from both sides of the North Atlantic, including Irish, Cape Breton, Old Time, Swedish, Scottish, Québecois, and more. Learn from Jennifer (flute) and our guests too. Several times a year, we will take our favorite tunes to the stage together, where everyone is a team player and has a role. This ensemble is the perfect preparatory environment to make the jump up to our classic Trad Ensemble when you are ready.
